De goed ogende, modieus geklede Caroline (Cattrall) is een ernstige, evenwichtige jonge vrouw die met haar vader en verloofde in Amerika woont. Haar identieke tweelingzus Lisa (wederom Cattrall) heeft een uitbundig karakter, is losbandig en woont in Londen. Niemand weet dat ze een callgirl is. Op een nacht wordt Caroline plotseling wakker. Ze weet dat er zich een tragedie heeft afgespeeld met Lisa. Geleid door de telepathie besluit ze naar Londen te gaan om met haar zus te gaan praten. Op het adres waar zij woont is zij niet aanwezig. Caroline gaat haar zoeken, maar kan haar niet vinden. Ze past de kleren van Lisa en probeert achter de waarheid te komen. Veel geheimzinnig gedoe, vreemde personages en vooral heel veel gepraat en weinig actie. Lee als Mr. Bernard en Méril als Mrs. Perfect vormen in elk geval een niet alledaags echtpaar. Het scenario is van Tony Grisoni, die een zeer succesvol pulpverhaal van Mary Higgins Clark bewerkte. Het camerawerk is van Bruno De Keyzer. Stereo.
